When creating this soft pastel drawing, I wanted to depict the dramatic lighting and stunning colours of the tiger. I decided on a cropped perspective of the tiger’s face to enhance the intense stare in the tiger's eyes. I am hoping by depicting the beauty and majesty of these great animals, it might inspire someone to support their conservation.
