Point Reyes Serene & Wild
The dramatic landscape of lupine and soft grasses on a cliff overlooking the ocean and the visually distant landmass points were stunning. To capture this feel, I used my hard pastels to create alcohol wash underpainting on Lux Archival. The layering of pastels from Blue Earth, Sennelier, Terry Ludwig and Richeson built the feeling of wild. What a beautiful place.
