I had these three pumpkins sitting on the floor in my studio as I had been doing daily still life paintings. After seeing them there for a few days I decided I liked the way they looked from above, and decided to paint them. So I put some cardboard under and on 2 sides of them and set up a light. I sketched in with a NuPastel on 12"x12" UArt 500. I used mostly Terry Ludwigs along with a few NuPastels, Rembrandts, Unison, and Jack Richeson. This was a fun painting.
