I can't see his face anymore / he's in a better place
This work has an underlying story of my brother O.D'ing from fentanyl a last summer and how I have lost the ability to see his face now in my memory. It also depicts what is happening to our children growing up in these environments having to mourn each other in loss from substances meant to breed addiction in society at large. Lastly I wanted to show that people also say a lot when talking about people lost is that well he's in a better place and I wanted to show that juxtaposition that maybe under the earth its not so pleasant and the flowers above are just artifacts to lure you into your own death.
