Italian Siblings

I bought a cluster of garlic at our local Farmer’s Market and fell in love with the variety of colors in garlic. I photographed the garlic and attempted to paint it several times in different mediums. Once I started my pastel painting, it spoke to me – I was able to create the values and hues that I saw in the cluster and was happy with my final piece.
