Fresh Catch
I inherited family photos that my grandpa had taken when he passed and immediately felt inspired. This one in particular spoke to me. It calls to simpler times of bare feet and being home before dark. I chose a retro color palette that seemed true to the era and mood of the piece. The subject is an adolescent Dave who is torn between the need to look cool and the pride he feels for his catch.
